title: "Uzina Getica Brand Guide" description: "Romanian armored steel: pure armor stacking for tank builds in The Division 2."
At a Glance
Uzina Getica is the heavy-armor brand for agents who like to stand still, eat damage, and trade plates with whatever the world throws at them. Every bonus on the set is dedicated to one job: making your armor pool larger and harder to break. There is no skill bonus to sweeten the deal, no weapon damage filler, no hazard protection padding. Three pieces equals more armor, more often, and a refresh every kill.
If your build philosophy is "if I do not die, I win", Uzina Getica belongs in your stash. It pairs cleanly with brands that add a second tanking layer (hazard protection, incoming repair) and with chest/backpack talents that scale with armor.

Bonuses
1 Piece - Plus 5 Percent Armor
A flat additive bonus to your armor stat. On a 1.2 million armor build that is roughly 60K extra plate, paid for by zero gear slots beyond the first piece. It stacks additively with other armor sources on the gear roll, so it is most efficient on builds that already have armor cores stacked.
2 Piece - Plus 10 Percent Armor on Kill
This is the engine of the brand. Every elimination triggers a 10 percent armor refresh that ticks back up over a short window. In density encounters - Summit floors, Countdown rooms, Legendary missions with constant red-bar pressure - you are essentially walking on a rolling repair buff. The trigger is generous: any kill counts, including skill kills and turret kills, which makes it forgiving for non-DPS roles.
3 Piece - Plus 20 Percent Total Armor
The crown jewel. Twenty percent applied to your total armor pool, multiplicatively on top of armor cores and the 1-piece bonus. On a six-armor-core chassis this single line can add 200K plate or more. It is the single largest "free" armor multiplier in the brand pool, and the reason Uzina Getica anchors most pure tank loadouts.
Best Use
Uzina Getica is built for tanks, plain and simple. Specifically:
- Heartbreaker tanks - the brand stacks armor, Heartbreaker converts shredded armor into weapon damage. The synergy is automatic and brutal.
- Foundry Bulwark builds - shield uptime scales with total armor. More armor equals more shield health equals more skill cycles.
- Striker drone tank - holding aggro while the drone shreds. The 2-piece refresh keeps you topped up while you tank fire.
- Raid tank duty - Iron Horse, Dark Hours - the boss damage is brutal and an armor cushion buys reposition time.
It is not the right brand for: skill DPS, status effect builds, glass cannon rifle builds, or anything that runs three red cores. The bonuses are wasted there.
Item Pool
Uzina Getica drops across all six gear slots: mask, backpack, chest, gloves, holster, kneepads. There are no exotic gear pieces tied to the brand - it is purely named/standard quality - which means rolling a clean three-piece is just a matter of farming targeted loot. Heroic Control Points and Summit floors 60+ both push the brand into the loot table efficiently.
Recommended attribute priority on Uzina Getica pieces:
- Armor roll on the secondary attribute slot (it stacks with the brand bonuses)
- Armor regeneration on chest/backpack
- Hazard protection as a tertiary - the brand has none built in
Builds That Use Uzina Getica
Pure Tank Bulwark
- 4 pieces Foundry Bulwark - protect from arms damage talent, shield scaling
- 2 pieces Uzina Getica - 5 percent armor + 10 percent on kill
- Six armor cores, Bulwark Brace gear set or shield-focused chest
- Result: deployable shield with 1.5M+ HP and a self that refuses to crack
Heartbreaker Hybrid
- 4 pieces Heartbreaker gear set
- 2 pieces Uzina Getica
- Run with a high-rate-of-fire SMG or LMG; armor shred fuels the damage buff
- The Uzina 2-piece refreshes the armor that Heartbreaker is constantly chewing through
Three-Piece Anchor
- 3 pieces Uzina Getica
- 3 pieces a complementary tank brand (Petrov for ROF tank, Belstone for crit, or Palisade for hazard layering)
- The full +20 percent total armor 3-piece is unlocked, plus a second meaningful set of bonuses
Pros and Cons
Pros
- Largest single-brand armor multiplier in the game (+20 percent total)
- 2-piece kill refresh is automatic and forgiving
- Drops in all six slots - no awkward "must roll on chest" restriction
- Synergizes natively with shield and Heartbreaker builds
- Useful from solo Heroic farming all the way to raid encounters
Cons
- Zero offensive contribution - no weapon damage, no skill damage
- Useless on glass cannon and skill builds
- Three-piece is only worth running on full-armor chassis - on hybrid 3-armor 3-skill setups the percent bonus is much smaller in absolute terms
- Hazard protection is missing entirely; pair with another tank brand to cover gas, fire, and DoT damage
FAQ
Does the 2-piece "armor on kill" trigger from skill kills?
Yes. Drone, turret, and seeker kills all count, which is why it pairs well with skill-tank hybrids. Hive kills are credited as well.
Does the 1-piece +5 percent armor stack additively or multiplicatively with armor cores?
Additively with the same armor multiplier pool. It is a flat add to your armor stat, similar to a brand attribute roll, not a separate multiplicative layer.
Is Uzina Getica better than Petrov Defense Group for tanking?
Different jobs. Petrov adds rate of fire, which is offense-flavored tank. Uzina is pure defense. For sponge tanks (raid duty, Bulwark, Heartbreaker), Uzina wins. For aggressive tank-DPS hybrids, Petrov is the move.
Why do I need a second brand alongside Uzina?
Uzina has no hazard protection, no incoming repair, and no skill stats. A second brand fills one of those gaps. Common pairings: Palisade Steelworks for hazard layering, Richter and Kaiser for repair scaling, or Belstone Armory for crit.
Does it work on Striker DPS?
Not really. Striker scales with stacks, which require offensive gear and aggressive shooting. Uzina is wasted on a build that does not want to be tanky in the first place.
Closing Notes
Uzina Getica does one thing and does it cleanly: it pours armor on top of armor. There is nothing clever or tricky about it. You wear three pieces, you have more plate, and you take more hits to break. For raid tanks, shield builds, and Heartbreaker pilots, it is the default starting point and there is no real competition for the role.
If you are building anything that wants to stand in the open and trade fire instead of running corner to corner, this is the brand. If you are building anything else, skip it - the bonuses are too narrow to carry a non-tank build.
